Blogging grew up as a hobby of mine and I am now looking forward to take it as a profession. It was a passion from childhood to work and deal with the technical things. I did a lot of blunders when I was small but that is a part of your interest. You are surely going to make a lot of mistakes in the field of your interest and that is the thing which is going to make you learn and develop. Three years back, I was a novice to blogging. There was just a little information, ” Blogging is writing about something”. There was no knowledge of where to buy space, how to upload a site, how to work with web space, blogging platforms and there was much to explore. I was a bit nervous that time but was at the same time, excitement was also there. There was a confidence in mind that I can do this thing and it will develop over after sometime.
February ‘09, I launched my first site, www.blogdairy.com, on the platform of Joomla CMS. Joomla was known to one of my friend and that’s why, without looking into any other options, I opted Joomla. Joomla is considered as the best Content Management System because of its easy to learn interface and adaptability to take different forms. I didn’t knew about Wordpress that time. Starting with articles on gadget stuff and then daily experimenting the different plugins, I made the site my experiment lab. The site trained me about Alexa, trained me in writing articles, trained me about many smaller things that one would never knew without experimenting. The domain expired in November and I didn’t renewed it and the reason was I had made that site a mess with so many experiments.
After that, I took a gap of three months for rest. I didn’t indulged myself to any blogging things in that time. I was just active on social network with my friends. Then in Jan’10, a new domain was registered by me, www.thefundu.com, and is a pure blogging thing. No experiments, no trials, only articles and more articles. The focus was only on professional articles that can create interest among readers. This blog grew rapidly and gained a good popularity in just 4-5 months. Blog is like a new born baby, you just have to feed it with content. A baby starts walking after a year if he has given a good attention by parents. Similarly in blogging, if given good attention and content, it will start gaining reputation in a negotiable time span. I used Wordpress as a platform for blogging in TheFundu, and it proved to be the best platform I had ever worked on for blogging. The site is still in developing phase and will always be as growth needs development.
Now coming to this blog, Blogologic, this was developed to share my knowledge freely to other guys who want to develop there blogging skills. The site can help other people, as well as can make me learn more. Ask me a question or share your knowledge at blogologic@hotmail.com.
